Current position of Hector SLAM is maintained under ./hector_slam/hector_mapping/include/hector_slam_lib/slam_main/HectorSlamProcessor.h:

Function ‘update’ takes a pervious pose on the map and update it by a new position ‘newPoseEstimateWorld’.
